BCF market days are wednesday & saturday 9-1 pm. ( also offering cheese from pure luck / yogurt & cheese from wateroak farms / pastured meats from loncito’s twin oaks ranch and thunder heart / baked goods from sweetish hill and amity bakery & coffee from texas coffee traders ).
BCF started GCP - the green corn project - 12 years ago. it’s mission is to educate and assist central texas in growing organic gardens. it’s a grassroots, non-profit, volunteer run organization that builds gardens for the low income, disabled and elderly as well as community centers, schools and shelters.
160 gardens strong since 1998 !
i am pleased to be 3 years involved in the annual fundraiser - held every october at BCF. my job is to corral 30 of austin’s top food and drink folks - and that’s easy when i mention BCF. 
i think it is one of austin’s great fundraisers - held on the farm - great tastes from austin’s favorites - music on the front porch & cooking demos on the back porch !
